hi everyone!
I would like to know if anyone warms up before streching? because I do not, and i dont feel pain or anything, but I will improve my flexibility if I warm up?

I warm up usually before everytime I stretch. If I don't feel like going outside and running around the block real quick I'll just do like high-knee running in place for a few mins, some crunches, pull ups and leg lifts (I have this thing called the Iron Gym that you can put in your doorway to do certain exercises). I usually do leg kicks in every direction as well. Since you don't usually warm up I'm not really sure if it will improve your flexibility, but it does help prevent you from pulling a muscle since you'll be warm :)

I do yoga .... I start with yoga stuff and gradually work to backbends. On off days I run and do strengthing stuff.

yeah maybe thats the important part of warm up, not get injured. coz i have notice that my flexibility doesnt improve more if i warm up.
if anyone thinks the opposite please reply.

If you only do easy relaxed stretches you're probably fine without a warm-up. However if you do any stretches that involve static strength or extreme bending then you really do need a proper warm-up. This can be done by walking around the room, running up and down the stairs, dancing, or whatever. Just start slow and gradually work your way up until you sweat properly. Wear warm clothing to maintain the warmth gained. Or you can do yoga, where even though you use static strength you start really gradually with sun salutations.

A simple warm-up for a few minutes can easily make you more flexible straight on than say 15 minutes of relaxed stretching without a warm-up.
