Are you still looking for tips on how to improve your left leg forward front splits?
If it is just that you cannot get flat in the splits then I am sure you will get there soon because your standing split backbend in the door way is very good. Your right leg which you're holding the foot / ankle of is almost at straight, and you are standing and doing a backbend, which makes it more difficult.
I suggest that you could try doing the splits after you have done that pose and I think that you will see an improvement over doing it before you have stretched your hip in the standing backbend.
