- I am a graduate of the Hungarian State Circus Academy with Performer's and Teacher's Diplomas. I traveled in many countries for several years with my Contortion and Roller Skating Acts. I also earned an AS in Kinesiology and a BS in Teaching the Performing Arts at SUNY Empire State College. Later I added a MS in Recreation and Leisure Studies with focus on Recreation Therapy from SUNY College at Brockport. I am a traveling, teaching pro at this time, although I teach out of my own studio as well in Rochester, NY.

American Youth Circus Organization's 2009 Festival

The students of Circus Arts meet bi-annually in a Festival/workshops, long weekend format somewhere in the US. Thanks for joining, you certainly bring a lot of experience and a lot of knowledge to this site. I want to ask you about contortion and men. Is this something that is happening more in the modern world than before, or is it just that people are more about about men and contortion these days as in the past. It seems there are still trainers who only train women. What is your position on this matter?
