Two remarks : Firstly, I am not a professional teacher, but I had the opportunity to work with and help teaching contortionists in different places. When I did so, students were quite young. It was for instance in China or in Mongolia, where children start around 5 years old, which is a need to become a good professional, even if some of them can start later, around 10 – 12 years old. I even met once a professional performer who started when she was 20. But I personnally have few experience of working with adults, even with dancer. Secondly, I would be reluctant to give advices by mail in an area where one must be careful ; any mistake or misunderstanding could have negative results for the body.
After seeing your photos, It seems that you have already a teacher, or at least somebody who can help you. I don’t know what is your goal, just making contortion for fun ? Difficult at your age to think about a professional career considering the very high level of flexibility of performers today. Better maybe to develop your hand balance. About backbend, I could suggest to try to develop the « bridge » (can start at a wall in the back) and try to push your hands always closer to your feet, then grasp your feet. And chest stand : stay in this position with legs up (maybe against a wall) and try to take your feet with hands. Then pull to bring your feet progressively on your head, then in front of your head. But be always very careful, force reasonably, and stop if you feel bad pain.
