My thesis was on the death drive in Freud's (1920) Beyond the Pleasure Principle (hereafter referred to as B.P.P), so it is quite interesting, but it was a lot of work, in the end it was a lot of pages, which is quite surprising, considering that Freud's B.P.P. isn't really that big of a book.
Atleast i am feeling a lot better, so much so that i had a great stretching session again last night, which is also why i am quite sore today, but luckily its the good kind of sore... The type of sore where you feel muscles that you haven't really used in awhile, which just reminds all the more how much i have been neglecting my stretching lately...
But so far stretching the hips have been good, i just wish i could be more consistent with them, i think i need to stretch them as often as i can, so its really just a matter of finding time, some space, and then just stretching them. So i am randomly doing that at the moment, when i sit at the desk, or when reading or just watching some television... Also, it doesn't have to be these grand gestures or big movements, stretching your hips can be quite a compact process...
How has your stretching been going? Do you have any splits ambitions?
Its a nice surprise! There is nothing worse than having Pc problems, i can attest to that, and especially when it takes awhile before your pc is fixed or repaired or replace, and the worst part about that is when you basically lose everything!! I had that happen to me last year, almost exactly a year ago, where i had my pc formatted, but just having that done took almost two weeks of agonizing. Luckily a friend of mine is a pc expert, so it was a strange experience, this guy is a freak! He was fixing my pc, whilst playing guitar, whilst smoking pot, whilst giving probably the best explanation for why the capitalist system will inevitably fail (done in an analogy to computer software). But pc problems is the worst, especially where i am completely dependent on the PC, and at the time i was busy working on my thesis too... Luckily i had copies of that thing stored everywhere, but all my other stuff on the PC was lost...
I think its great that you can actually read in the knot, my biggest problem is that i can't hold it for too long, but i think it has more to do with the way i approach the knot. That is why i am working on my hips, because i think that my knot is way too much hamstring and lower back, and not enough hip... So i am working on that... But your knot is really good!
I have been good, although i did injure my ribs last week, so i was in pain everytime i sneezed or coughed. That wasn't good at all, but its just the muscles. I was at rugby practise, and i had a late shoulder charge, right on the ribs. That tackle was completely outside of the rules, but what can you do after the fact... So my Hallows eve was quite relaxed, i had a myprodol party, which was good... [myprodol is a painpil, but i am sure you might get those where you live]
How have you been?

Fleeky is really great! Frontbenders really get no love. Everyone always wants to be a backbender, and i can understand why, it looks really impressive and difficult. But frontbending is also part of contortion, and i have heard that lot of the great backbenders are also very good frontbenders, its just that backbending is dominating...
I got started when i was about 15 or so, and i really tried everything, but i just couldn't do any of it, so i started with the lotus and worked my way up from there. I didn't really have any advice or information, so i just started working on that and experimenting with that, and slowly discovered that i was starting to be able to do more and more... It was really a proces of trial by error...
What made you decide that you wanted to take it further?
welcome to CU. Nice profile pic. Contortion and gothic style, it's quiet a nice mix.
Ps Frontbenders don't always get the respect they deserve...
