So I took the time to look a bit around what's going on at my other site picturama to find several pictures which I do not like. Naked breaths and other more erotic oriented photos. In the past I already had to remove such pictures because the community there seems not to care. And in the process I got treated as arrogant for a site which I provide for free.
So now it's invitation only or per pay and the photos found today were uploaded by paying members. Well I simply deleted them. The rules state "Do not post pictures which could be viewed objectionable by others" and if people are too dumb to extrapolate this beyond their limited horizon, that's not my problem.
One of the users even linked back to his gallery site which had "non nude flexible poses" and just by hitting a link you find yourself on the main gallery site which is filled with filth and porn and everything else I don't want to look at. Seeing that guy's horizon the decision was easy, LOL.
Why I write this? If youtube can kill my user without explanations except "usage rights violation" and yahoo delete my group without any reason I should even not need to say anything. Arrogance seems to be the rule in web 2.0 world.

Later I got an email with this contents, that "Elly" later registered here as Elizabeth Turner. Put the mail here because she put it also as reply to the blog post to which I replied and then she deleted her post again. So to make you understand what's going on, here's her reaction to the ban:

Okay, I've had enough of this dribble you write all over the internet, it's just about to stop......just be sure you have "everything" legitimate (and legal) on your "sites", because you've been reported to child protection agencies (both you and the picturama website), by the way just to let you know...my friend's mother saw her 13 year old daughter being exploited on the picturama site, and are you aware the law is now involved?

An in-depth log has been made of everything you've written on the internet "George from Luxembourg". I'm curious to see how that will go, and you should be too, lol :) Don't worry about deleting any comments you make (I've already made copies, from all the websites including contortionists unite and limbermen and many others I'll leave you to work out for yourself). I don't like seeing children being exploited and the language you write, and I see many children being exploited with your name and email address around it. I'm a young person, so I'm prepared to take it to a court of law to have people like you that run these sites prosecuted.

to close this discussion: You accuse me of having a picture of a kid on the site which you don't want to see there, but after 1 week of discussions here, you still have not provided me with any information so I could get the offending photo off the site!

instead of gigantic listings of what is sutable or not the site has a simple rule "Do not post pictures which could be viewed objectionable by others" so this includes anything which anyone in the entire world would object against. Knowing the USA rulings, you should know that showing any kind of nudity is not permitted. And in the past we had discussions about tasteful or not. Well if there is a discussion then there is someone who finds it objectionable. Result: do not post. This includes even semi transparent briefs. And also some of the well clothed zlata pictures clearly showing an arousing inspiring gesture should be off limits.
So I made one of my regular checks of the site whats going on, and found several of those fotos. Two from you and one even worse from someone else. Seeing that the build-in police of picturama (the "vote for remove" did not seem to work I took the big kill switch and there you are.
I will now proceed to tell the members of picturama that the whole situation is their fault. Had anyone of them moved the thing into the trash or at least voted against the picture it would have turned out way smoother.

George, you need to be specific about pictures to be added to the website. You have a category called Professional Contortionists and that's the category I added a number of pictures for the fans of contortion who find the photos inspiring. I regret having added a couple of the questionable photos because I only saw them as pictures in tasteful poses. I've contributed other pictures in other categories which are inspiring and definitely non-offensive. To everyone viewing the pictures I've added who may have been offended, I'd like to say sorry, and I've made a mistake with adding a couple of revealing photos, which I mistakenly thought were tasteful. You wrote that on your website that it's the responsibility of the person who adds the pictures of whether others may consider them questionable. I wasn't 100% sure that the pictures from flexshow or cl-? were able to be added because I saw so many of them there before I added.

Maybe a solution could be for the regular members visiting the site to write a small message to you, if someone mistakenly adds a questionable picture, so then an unsuitable picture can be removed quickly, and repeat offenders should be banned. I think it's a very inspiring group to be a part of, and I think it just needs a little bit of help from other members to keep the website from anything offensive being added. I certainly agree with you that it was wrong for that member to link back to his own website where there was unsuitable material-that is intentional and is insulting to the website. But I do think I was harshly dealt with.

At least that's what I read between the lines. Of course I'm sorry if I read that wrongly but you are unfortunately not very precise.

if you don't report the problematic image to me I can't know about it and remove it! I am actually NOT watching every single image uploaded to the site. So report the image and it will be removed. Issue solved.

hey, I'm a practicing contortionist and I find some pictures inspiring...Nadedga is an inspiration to many who are practicing contortion, and if you find her tasteful pictures to be porn, you are so wrong. And it's true...you've allowed pictures of a friend of mine to be put on here and her mother is angry and the whole thing is being investigated, remember you're the one in control of this website to keep it clean, and I haven't added any "porn" as you might suggest
